Slipper Island Resort can be reached by road (1.5 hrs from Auckland) with transfer to Slipper by boat from Tairua/Pauanui. Transport to and from the Island by helicopter or light aircraft takes just 30 minutes from Auckland. The Island has its own airstrip. Guests can choose to visit any of the numerous tourist centres located within easy flying distance of the island.

The island has a small private complex of five chalet style burres situated on the waters edge. The chalets are fully self-contained with separate kitchen and bathroom. All linen and bedding is provided. Guests need only bring food and beverages. Situated on the water's edge in Home Bay, there is a combination of single and two bedroom chalets in a private complex. Each chalet is surrounded by decks with individual barbecues for outdoor cooking and an easy relaxed holiday.

Daily maid service is available on request. In total we have accommodation for up to 35 guests so if you are planning to celebrate with friends and family we have plenty of room. We also have a lodge that sleep 12.

Activities include snorkeling, kayaking, rock-fishing, diving, horse-riding, windsurfing, sailing, or checking out the spectacular scenery on a walk around the island. Many of these activities are included in the package, some are optional extras which you can choose to include.
